Getting Here

Not only accessible by car, the entire whole of downtown is accessible by water through the Manistee River Channel.  For complete details on how to get to the Downtown Area, please see below.

Getting here by CAR:

From the South: When arriving from the South, you will be going through the heart of the City of Manistee via US-31.  The section of US-31 that is adjacent to the Downtown Area is known as "Cypress Street".  When entering Manistee, you will be met with two major stop lights.  One at First street the other at River Street, both can access the downtown area, but we recommend using River Street just before Memorial Bridge on US31. For a map, click here.

From the North:  When arriving from the North, you will cross a pair of active railroad crossings before crossing the US-31 - Memorial Bridge.  You will immediately turn right following this bridge onto River Street.  See a map here.

From the East: When arriving form the East, we recommend taking M-55 to US-31, or from the East, take US-10 to US-31 North and you will arrive in Manistee.

From the South: Take US-31 North to Manistee.  If originating from the Grand Rapids Area take I-96 west to US-31 North.
